Study on Secondary Brine Drainage and Sand Control Technology of Salt Cavern Gas Storage

چکیده
Geological conditions of salt cavern gas storage in China are characterized by dominantly layered layers with a high content insoluble mudstone. After the water leaching layer, large amount sediment accumulates at bottom cavity. During injection process, only clean brine above can be expelled, leaving layer 2–5 m and pore space sediment. To increase capacity, it is urgent to explore secondary drainage technology further expel residual pores bottom. The relatively loosely packed composed mudstone particles, which easily migrate block withdrawal pipe. In this paper, firstly, mineral composition, particle size distribution characteristics fully understood XRD sieve analysis methods. Then, lab simulation device suitable for high-salinity diameter height 25 cm was designed built. A screen sand control experiment, gravel pack artificial wall experiment chemical cementing were simulated. effects injection, pressure, on production liquid studied. influence factors intensively investigated, finally, system recommended. optimal construction parameters discharge recommended as follows: Under condition packing same size, trend different thicknesses not obvious, 2 thickness best overall corresponding 28 field. larger pack, better control, 10–20 mesh. pressure should low possible.

Stability Analysis of Salt Cavern Gas Storage Using 2D Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical Finite-Element Software
Ensuring the stability and integrity of underground gas storage salt caverns is a very complicated subject due to the non-linear and time-dependent behavior of rock salts under complicated thermal and mechanical loading conditions. For this reason, pressure and temperature fluctuations in the caverns and their surrounding strata must be integrated into the analysis and the numerical tools that ...

Brine rejection from freezing salt solutions: a molecular dynamics study.
The atmospherically and technologically very important process of brine rejection from freezing salt solutions is investigated with atomic resolution using molecular dynamics simulations. The present calculations allow us to follow the motion of each water molecule and salt ion and to propose a microscopic mechanism of brine rejection, in which a fluctuation (reduction) of the ion density in th...
